A three-car accident in West Penn Township on Route 309 this Monday evening left three injured.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated, but speeding is the factor most likely according to officials. West Penn Township Police Chief Brian Johnson stated, "we were here to do the implementation. Is an area of 45 people think is faster because it is a four-lane highway, but is still 45.
The accident involved six people, three of which were sent via helicopter to local hospitals, two in critical condition. When police arrived at the scene of the accident, three people were on the road, two of whom had been taken from a van involved in collision.
