Toyota Announces Recall of 2.17 million vehicles due to problems of acceleration

On 24 February, Toyota Motor Corp. has announced a recall of approximately 2. 17 million vehicles in the United States because potentially Accelerator pedals could become stuck in the floor mats or jammed in the driver's side carpets, causing the vehicle to accelerate unexpectedly and could result in a fatal car accident. According to Philly.com, the administration of National Highway Traffic Safety (NHTSA) has asked Toyota to recall these additional vehicles after a review of documents from Toyota.
