Four teens seriously injured in an accident pedestrian Ridley Township

On Friday, March 11th, Philly.com reports that a man of Darby Borough, driving without a license, was charged after he left the scene of an accident of pedestrians in Ridley Township, which seriously injured four teenagers.

According to the article, authorities arrested a 52-year-old man about one kilometer away from the pedestrian accident scene in a van damaged Pennsylvania. It is believed that the man ran a red light at the intersection of Avenida Morton and MacDade Boulevard soon after 10 hours. The teenagers were on foot and were met by van. The man, weaving and driving erratically, took almost into oncoming traffic before he was pulled over a few minutes later. When the police spoke to him about the accident, he told them he thought he had hit a traffic cone.

Teens, a boy and three girls are all between 14 and 15 years of age. All of them were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, with some requiring transportation by helicopter. Since the pedestrian accident, two teenagers have since been released, but the other two remain in hospital. One is on watch because of a concussion and another is in intensive care.

The article states that man's license was suspended last May because of an undisclosed medical condition. Following the pedestrian accident, the man was accused of causing an accident involving injury and was held by George w. Hill Correctional Facility in lieu of bonus of $ 150000.
